Free tool
Free X shadowban checker
Enter any public X handle. We compare its recent posts against what X's own search actually surfaces, and show you a plain-language read, not a guess dressed up as certainty.
How this is calculated
We read the account's recent posts, then run the same kind of search HyperReach's own radar uses for the exact handle. A post missing from those search results is a proxy for reduced search visibility, nothing more. Replies are checked the same way, separately, since reduced reply visibility is a commonly reported pattern. We never claim to see X's internal moderation state, and any signal we cannot compute honestly, such as account-level restriction flags X does not expose to this data source, is left out rather than guessed.
Frequently asked questions
- Does this tell me if I am shadowbanned?
- No. It shows whether recent posts and replies from this account are visible in X's own search results right now. That is a heuristic proxy, not access to X's internal moderation systems.
- Why did I get 'inconclusive'?
- Either there were too few recent posts to say anything reliable, or the search step did not return enough data. We would rather say 'inconclusive' than guess.
- What can cause reduced search visibility besides a restriction?
- Indexing delays, very fresh posts, and normal search ranking behavior can all reduce visibility without any restriction being involved.
- Do you store my handle or the results?
- Results are cached for 24 hours to protect this free tool from abuse, then discarded.
